On 27 April 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) locked horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing IPL. Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first in front of the home crowd. However, they managed to put up a solid score of 202 runs on the board for five wickets in 20 overs.

But, during their innings, MS Dhoni was seen losing his cool at his players and shouting at them. It happened when CSK missed a run-out chance and seeing that, fans were in shock and shared their views on social media. Generally, MS Dhoni is known for his cool nature as a skipper throughout all these years.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 16th over of RR’s innings. Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer were batting. Matheesa PathiranA was bowling and on the third delivery of that over, he bowled a short ball. It came slower off the pitch and hence, Hetmyer missed it. The ball hit him and went dribbling to Dhoni. The CSK skipper quickly collected the ball and threw it to the non-striker end for a direct run-out. But, Pathirana was in the middle of the pitch, and also in the way of the throw. So, they missed the chance, and seeing that, MS Dhoni seemed angry. He even was seen yelling something on his players. 

Speaking of RR’s innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal was the highest scorer for them. He scored 77 runs off 43 balls, including eight fours and four sixes. Both Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler failed to score big. Apart from him, Jurel scored 34 runs off 15 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Devdutt Padikkal also remained not out on 27* runs off 13 balls, including five fours. For CSK, Tushar Deshpande took two wickets while both Theekshana and Ravindra Jadeja grabbed one wicket each.
