The first of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand has been started at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday, 26th of December. But it was the time skipper Babar Azam took the charge himself. He first stitched a partnership of 62 runs for the fourth wicket with number five batter Saud Shakeel. Furthermore, the veteran wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed accompanied Babar for a crucial and outstanding partnership of 196 runs for the fifth wicket.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Pak skipper also completed his century against the visitors on the first day of the Karachi Test.
