Riyan Parag will be seen in action again for the Rajasthan franchise in the Indian T20 League 2023. He has been a part of the franchise since 2018. The franchise bought him for the 2019 Indian T20 League at his base price of INR 20 Lakhs. But, he has failed so far despite getting many chances within the team.

Now, ahead of the new edition of the Indian T20 League, Riyan Parag came up with a bold prediction. He shared a tweet that reads: “My inner conscience says I’m hitting 4 sixes in an over at some point this Indian T20 League.” It meant that he is getting a feeling to hit four sixes in an over in a match during the next edition of the tournament.

However, fans were also surprised to see such a tweet from the young batter as they came up with some funny tweets in replies. Speaking of Riyan Parag, he has played 47 matches so far for Rajasthan. In those matches, he has scored 522 runs so far, with an average of 16.84. His strike rate has been a concern also as it has been 124.88. After the Rajasthan franchise retained him for the next edition, Parag said that he will look to repay the team very soon.

While speaking to Sportskeeda, Riyan Parag said: I think it's very simple for me. The message is always clear: they believe in my abilities. 90 percent of the people don't see what's going on inside the team, how I am performing in practice matches, or what I am doing. Everyone just sees the end product, which has been a bit rough for me. So, everyone judges me on that. But the whole Royal family knows what I am capable of and what I have done in practice or even shown glimpses of it in matches. So, the belief has always been there. They have backed me for four years. This is my fifth year now and I hope to repay them soon.”
