Meanwhile, some pictures are getting viral on the internet where it can be seen that the Karachi Stadium is empty and the spectators didn’t show up and there was a little crowd only. It can be an alarming situation for Pakistan Cricket as it is clearly visible that people in Karachi are disinterested to watch the contest. However, the fans took no time to troll Pakistan as soon as the picture surfaced on the internet.

Talking about the match, New Zealand skipper Tom Latham won the toss and invited Pakistan to put runs on the scoreboard. Coming to bat in the 1st innings, the Men in Green lost Fakhar Zaman early on the score of just 19 runs. However, later, Imam-ul-Haq and skipper Babar Azam stitched a brilliant 108-run stand for the 2nd wicket and set the platform for upcoming batters to open their hands.

However, after hitting a half-century, Babar was cleaned up by speedster Matt Henry on the score of 54 runs, which included 3 fours and 1 six. Imam was also sent back to the pavilion as he fell 10 runs short of his century by Adma Milne, who dismissed him on 90 runs, which included 7 fours and 1 six.

Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha both made the thirties and Shadab Khan with a cameo at the end but New Zealand never allowed anyone to get away. Their fielding as usual was top-class and the bowling was led by Henry with a three-fer. Debutant offie Cole McConchie too impressed everyone and they restricted Pakistan to a total of 287 runs.
