On Monday, something similar happened in the DC vs SRH clash in IPL 2023. A fan asked Axar Patel, fielding deep near the boundaries, to turn around. In his pursuit, he threatened him to consume poison if he didn't turn, a request the star allrounder also couldn't turn down. Patel is seen smiling from the field, looking towards the camera in the fans' hilarious attempt to make him turn.

However, it didn't end there. After Patel turns around and waves at the camera with a smile, the fan further requests him to convey his message to Rishabh Pant. He says that the entire DC fanbase is with Pant in his hardest time and then takes a dig at Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, rumoured to be involved in a romantic relationship with the India wicketkeeper batter. This is where the hilarious video ends. Naturally, it has already done rounds on social media, and fans have been very responsive with their reactions on Twitter.

In other news, Axar Patel was backed by Sunil Gavaskar to replace David Warner as the captain of Delhi Capitals. David Warner is now in command of the team in the IPL 2023. Nevertheless, many cricket analysts have attacked his leadership, particularly since the team's first five games were losses. As the vice-captain of the Delhi Capitals, Axar Patel has, on the other hand, consistently delivered good bowling and batting performances and demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities.
