Team India are currently playing the three-match ODI series at home against the Aussies. Before that, they won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a margin of 2-1. Umesh Yadav was an instrumental part of that winning squad. He played two out of four matches in that series and performed in some crunch situations.

He scored just 17 runs while grabbing three wickets in those two matches. Now, some images and videos have gone viral where Umesh Yadav was seen visiting the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain. He wished for happiness and peace in the world after participating in the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ on the occasion.

The ‘Bhasma Aarti’ is a famous ritual where ashes get offered by the devotees. It gets performed during the Brahma Muhurta between 4 and 5:30 in the morning. After that, Umesh Yadav visited the sanctum sanctorum of the temple to perform Jalabhishek. Regarding the visit, Yadav said: "Today, I have reached here to worship Baba Mahakal. I prayed that everyone's wishes and desires be fulfilled. There should be peace and happiness in the world." However, this is not the first time when a team India cricketer has visited this temple. Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, and KL Rahul also visited the temple earlier this month.

However, recently, the team India pacer lost his father at the age of 74 in his hometown Khaparkheda. Speaking about Umesh Yadav’s career, he has played 140 international matches across all three formats. In those matches, he has taken 286 wickets so far. Meanwhile, he will be seen in the Indian T20 League 2023 for the Kolkata franchise again as they retained him. In the 2022 edition, the franchise bought him at his base price of INR 2 Crores. Seeing the viral image of Yadav at the temple, fans went crazy and shared their views on the social media platform.

Here are some viral tweets by fans over the viral image of the pacer:
