India will tour Ireland for two T20Is in Dublin at the end of this month. This is the first time since 2018 that the Indian team will tour a European country. Overall, they have played against each other in T20Is only three times since playing for the first time in 2009. In 2009, they played each other in the 20-20 World Cup in which the then defending champions, India won by eight wickets.
In 2018, they played against each in a two-match series. The then Virat Kohli-led side won the first game by 76 runs while winning the next one by 143 runs. The major difference between the 2018 series and the upcoming one is the kind of players. Four years ago, the first-choice players played while the upcoming series will see a lot of second-string players in the series.
