Speaking of the series, It was another devastating series for Babar Azam as the Pakistan skipper. The home side won the first two matches of the five-match series convincingly. Hence, they were favourite to win the series. But, they lost the third and fifth match as the fourth match got called off due to rain. So, fans were not happy to see Pakistan drawing the series from a winning position. However, as a batter, Babar Azam scored one century in this series. Still, he managed to score 130 runs in four innings, at an average of 43.33.

After losing the last match, during the post-match presentation, Babar Azam said: “I think we were 10-15 runs short after Rizwan revived the innings for us through the middle phases. The way Iftikhar performed in the batting department has been a major boost for us. Same goes for Imad how he carried his form from the PSL and chipped in with both bat and ball, it's been really helpful. We have a lot of positives from the series, especially how the young guns have come out and expressed. We have also understood the areas where we are lacking and we will try to improve. Special knock this from Chapman, congratulations to him. We will look to switch on for the ODIs and give our best there.”
