Here are the possible three most run scorers in the RR vs GT clash in IPL 2023
1. Hardik Pandya
The GT skipper managed to score an unbeaten fifty in their last match against Delhi Capitals (DC). He scored 59* runs off 53 balls but it was not enough to chase down the target of 131 runs. Hence, fans were not happy with the pace he batted during that chase. As of now, he has enjoyed a decent season so far.
In IPL 2023, Pandya has scored 213 runs in eight matches, at an average of 30.42 and a poor strike rate of 117.03. He has scored two fifties also. But, fans will hope for a better-paced knock from him against Sanju Samson and his men in this upcoming fixture. However, he has scored the most runs (189) in this rivalry.
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
This RR young sensation lit up the Wankhede Stadium when he smashed his maiden IPL ton against Mumbai Indians (MI). He scored 124 runs off 62 balls, including 16 fours and eight sixes. His knock helped RR to score 212 runs on the board. Jaiswal also won the Player of the Match award.
Currently, he is in the second position in the race for the Orange Cap this season. Jaiswal has scored 428 runs in nine matches, at an average of 47.55 and a staggering strike rate of 159.70. Hence, fans will hope for another big knock from this young Southpaw batter against RR at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.
3. Shubman Gill
This youngster set the fire in the international arena before this IPL for Team India. He managed to score centuries across all three formats along with a double century in ODIs. But, in IPL 2023 so far, Gill has not managed to pull off that blistering form in a consistent manner. Shubman Gill has scored 339 runs in nine matches, at an average of 37.66.
He has scored three fifties so far. But, sometimes, fans were not happy with his overall strike rate. Hence, he is expected to score big runs against RR in this next match. Meanwhile, in the last match against DC, Gill failed to give a solid start. Currently, he is in the sixth spot in the race for the Orange Cap this year.
