In IPL 2023 so far, Devon Conway has scored 625 runs in 15 matches, at an average of 52.08 and a strike rate of 137.06. He is currently in the fourth spot in the race for the Orange Cap this year. His ability to give a good start to the team with Ruturaj Gaikwad has been a key for CSK.

In qualifier one against GT, he scored 40 runs off 34 balls, including four fours. He put up a partnership of 87 runs for the first wicket with Gaikwad and that gave a solid start to the team. So, fans will expect another top performance from this Kiwi batter in the grand final when he will face GT again.   

2. Shubman Gill

This young batter from India has been in sensational form with the bat. Currently, he is in the top spot in the race for the Orange Cap this season. In 16 matches of IPL 2023, Shubman Gill has smashed 851 runs, at an average of 60.78 and a strike rate of 156.43. He has notched up four fifties and three centuries so far.

However, all those centuries came in just the last four games. In qualifier two against MI, he smashed 129 runs off 60 balls, including seven fours and 10 sixes. So, with such a form on his back, Gill is expected to be the highest run scorer again in the final against MS Dhoni and his men in Ahmedabad.     

3. Ruturaj Gaikwad

This young CSK opener started the tournament with some top knocks. But, in the middle, he lost his path. But, in qualifier one, Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed 60 runs off 44 balls, including seven fours and one six. He put up a partnership of 87 runs for the first wicket. His partnerships with Devon Conway have been one of the positives for CSK.

Till now, he has scored 564 runs in 15 matches, at an average of 43.38 and a strike rate of 146.87. Ruturaj has notched up four fifties so far. However, he has always loved to play against GT as per his previous experiences. So, CSK fans will hope for another solid knock from this batter in Ahmedabad.
