The stage is getting ready at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on 29 April as Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). It will be the 40th match of the ongoing IPL. However, in the reverse fixture, DC defeated SRH by seven runs at Hyderabad. So, DC will look to do a double-over SRH with another win.
While SRH will look for a win this time around. Currently, SRH are in the ninth spot with four points in seven games. But, DC are in the 10th spot with four points in seven games. However, in the last five meetings, DC have the upper hand with victories in all five matches. Hence, a tough test might await SRH once again at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Here are the possible three most run scorers in the DC vs SRH clash in IPL 2023
1. David Warner
The DC skipper has shown some improvement in the strike rate in his last two innings in the ongoing IPL 2023. Since the start of the tournament, David Warner has scored runs. But, fans were not happy with the pace at which those runs came as it did not help the team in winning games.
Till now, David Warner has scored 306 runs in seven matches, at an average of 43.71. But, his overall strike rate is 119.53. He has notched up four fifties also in the tournament. In the last game against SRH, he scored only 21 runs but still, he is in the fifth sport in the race for the Orange Cap. So, he is expected to play a big knock in front of the home crowd against SRH.
2. Harry Brook
Since the start of IPL 2023, all eyes were on this star England batter as he set the fire in the World of Cricket with his power-hitting abilities across all three formats. But, till now, Harry Brook has failed to show such consistency in the tournament. Apart from one century against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Brook has failed miserably.
In seven matches, he has scored 163 runs, at an average of 27.16. In the last game against DC, he scored only seven runs at Hyderabad. So, this time around, Harry Brook will look to turn around things against David Warner and his men. However, small boundaries at Arun Jaitley Stadium might help him to clear the fence with ease.
3. Axar Patel
This star all-rounder of Team India has shown great consistency with the bat so far for DC in IPL 2023. In seven matches, Axar Patel has scored 182 runs, at an average of 30.33. While batting down the order, Axar has always come up with some top knocks when his team needed them most.
In the last match against SRH, DC were in all sorts of trouble by losing five wickets for 62 runs. After that, Axar Patel scored 34 runs off 34 balls and stitched a partnership of 69 runs with Manish Pandey for the sixth wicket. So, fans will hope to see him scoring such important runs once again while facing SRH at the home ground.
