This Southpaw batter left everyone shocked with his power-hitting skills against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the last game. He scored 104 runs off 51 balls, including six fours and nine sixes. After that innings, Venkatesh Iyer has now scored 234 runs in five matches, at an average of 46.80. Iyer even has batted at a strike rate of 170.80.

With that century, Venkatesh Iyer became the second batter to score a century in the history of KKR. So, fans will hope that he can continue his good form again against DC. In his inaugural season for KKR in 2021, Iyer scored 370 runs in 10 matches, at an average of 41.11 including four fifties.    

2. David Warner

Before the start of this IPL season, DC handed the captaincy baton to David Warner as Rishabh Pant is unavailable due to injuries. But, he has failed miserably so far as DC are still winless in five games. As an individual batter, the veteran Aussie has scored 228 runs in five matches, at an average of 45.60.

But, his strike rate has been 116.92 and that has attracted much criticism. Fans have criticised them a lot so far and he seemed to lack that intent in his batting this year. He has scored three fifties so far. But, fans will hope to see David Warner scoring those runs with a much higher strike rate against KKR.     

3. Nitish Rana

The KKR skipper has shown some form with the bat in recent matches. In IPL 2023 so far, Nitish Rana has scored 150 runs in five matches, at an average of 30. After failing to score in the first two matches, Rana scored 45 runs against Gujarat Titans. Then, in the next match against SRH, he scored 75 runs off 41 balls.

So, fans will hope to see another top knock from Nitish Rana against DC. Meanwhile, Rana plays for Delhi in the domestic circuit. He had a decent domestic season also with the bat before this tournament. So, the pitch might suit him and he might look to score big against David Warner and his men.
