Indian T20 League 2023: Here's a look at complete list of released and retained players ahead of December's mini-auction

The Indian cricket Board is set to host the mini-auction for the next season of the Indian T20 League. The auction will take place on the 23^rd of December in Kochi. Indian T20 League’s 16^th edition will be played in the old format of matches both away and at home.

Before the commencement of the mini-auction today i.e., Tuesday, 15^th of November was the deadline for submitting their list of retained and released players ahead of the next season of the Indian T20 League.

Before moving ahead into the mini-auction, every team will be going with an increment of INR 5 crores in the respective purse values allotted earlier to them.

Coming back to the release and retention of the players, All the teams have made a few big changes in their squads by releasing some big names a month before the commencement of the mini-auction for the 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League.

Meanwhile, veteran speedster and Aussie captain, Pat Cummins, who played for Kolkata has opted not to take part in next year’s Indian T20 League due to commitments for the national team. Other than Cummins, English player Sam Billings and star opener Alex Hales has also decided to pull back from the 16^th edition of the tournament.
