The game between Rajasthan and Hyderabad turned out to be a rather one-sided affair. It was the Sanju Samson-led side that emerged victorious. Their win comes as a major confidence booster for them.

Moreover, this win will significantly boost their Net run rate. As for Hyderabad, they need to work on a lot of aspects if they are to compete in the Indian T20 league 2022. They were completely outplayed by Rajasthan in all three departments.

Rajasthan's top-order were breathing fire as they got their side to an explosive start. That wasn't it as Sanju Samson continued his mayhem. He scored a brilliant half-century. Even the likes of Devdutt Padikkal and Shimron Hetmyer looked really good. In the first innings, Rajasthan managed to score 210-6.

During the second innings, Hyderabad batters looked completely clueless as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. As a matter of fact, the Kane Williamson-led side recorded their lowest powerplay score ever. Besides, they were struggling to score runs as well.

Barring Aiden Markram, none of their batters took the responsibility of staying in the middle. Towards the end, it was Washington Sundar who tried to salvage some pride as he scored a superb 40 off just 14 balls. Yet, they fell short of the target by 61 runs.

As for Rajasthan's bowlers, all of them were superb as the pacers started things for them with three wickets in the first six overs. It was then Yuzvendra Chahal who took three wickets. This clinical performance has already made Rajasthan a worthy contender to win the title. Thus it will be exciting to watch them play in this edition of the league.
