9The second game of the 15th edition of the Indian T20 league shall see Delhi take on Mumbai. The finalists of the 2020 edition shall battle it out in the first day game of this edition. In the last few years, these teams have had their own kind of rivalry.

During the 2020 edition, the five-time champions beat Delhi four times, which included the final as well. However, the Delhi-based franchise returned the favour as they beat Mumbai in both the games of the 2021 edition. Thus, their first encounter of this season promises to be a thrilling contest.

Mumbai managed to purchase some big names during the mega auction such as Tim David and Daniel Sams. They also bought back Ishan Kishan for a hefty amount. Yet, they retained their core, and have a lot of similar faces. On the other hand, Delhi acquired the services of some world-class players as well.

However, it is to be noted that some of their players won't be available for this game. This means that there will be the added pressure on Delhi's captain Rishabh Pant. Hence, this game shall act as a catalyst towards making this Sunday an absolute blockbuster for the fans.
