The 15^th match of the Indian T20 League 2022 will have Lucknow take on Delhi on Thursday at DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Lucknow have made an outstanding start to their campaign, having won two out of their three matches so far.

On the other hand, Delhi kicked off their campaign with a four-wicket win over Mumbai but lost their last match at the hands of Gujarat. Rishabh Pant and Co. would be looking to get back to winning ways.

Skipper, KL Rahul played a stellar knock of 68 runs in 50 balls in the last game against Hyderabad, while Deepak Hooda notched his second half-century. Thanks to those two knocks, Lucknow managed to score 169 runs in the first innings.

Later, a collective bowling effort from the team helped them restrict Hyderabad to 157 runs. The addition of Jason Holder is a big boost for them. Young Ayush Badoni is showing great form which further inspires a lot of confidence. Though, the lack of runs from Manish Pandey is a bit of a concern for them. At the time of writing, all the players in the squad are fit and available.

1. KL Rahul

KL Rahul notched his first half-century of the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League against Hyderabad on Monday. He played a match-winning knock of 68 runs in 50 balls. He is one of the most prolific run-scorer in IPL and one would expect to continue him to continue the good form going ahead in the tournament.

2. Avesh Khan

In just three games, Avesh Khan has already made a significant impact in the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League. The LSG pacer bowled a match-winning spell of 4 for 24 in 4 overs in the last game against Hyderabad. He picked two wickets in a single over to turn the game completely in favor of Lucknow. He will be the man to watch out for in the next game.

3. Deepak Hooda

Since making his debut for India, Deepak Hooda is looked a lot more mature in his batting. In just three matches, he has managed to hit two half-centuries. Hooda compiled a heart-warming 51-run knock in 33 balls in the last match. It will be interesting to see if he could carry on with consistent performances going ahead in the tournament.

   Delhi:

Delhi haven’t been playing with a full-strength side. Despite that, they managed to win their first game against Mumbai but it was followed by a 14-run defeat against Gujarat. In a big boost for them, Watson recently updated that both Warner and Nortje are available for them for the next game against Lucknow. Though, Mitchell Marsh’s availability is still doubtful.

1. Rishabh Pant

There is no denying the fact that Rishabh Pant is one of the most important batters in Delhi’s batting unit. He holds this batting unit together and is expected to play a big role with the bat. Pant played a handy 43-run knock in 29 balls in the last game but had he stayed a little bit longer, Delhi would have won the match. Ahead of the next game, the franchise would want him to convert the starts into big scores and finish the game.

2. Khaleel Ahmed

The left-arm pacer has impressed one and all in the first two games for Delhi. He has bowled at great lengths and mixed it up quite well. Ahmed has troubled the opposition on numerous occasions and has also managed to pick 4 wickets in 2 matches.

3. David Warner

As per Shane Watson, David Warner is likely to be available to play the next match against Lucknow. Delhi haven’t got great starts in the first two games and, thus, Warner is likely to play a big role with the bat for them. He needs to deliver consistent performances at the top of the order if the franchise ought to go far in the tournament.
