Speaking of this ‘Golden Ticket’, it is a ticket that will give the ticket holder an opportunity to cover the match from ground zero. There is an accreditation card that confirms that the ticket holder is a guest of the Board and hence, VIP treatment will be provided to him or her. However, they will not be able to attend all the matches but they will certainly attend the big matches like the India vs Pakistan, final. The most anticipated clash between Men in Blue and Men in Green will take place on 14 October in Ahmedabad.

The World Cup is set to begin on 5 October 2023 as the defending champion, England will take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. India will begin their campaign on 8 October in Chennai against Australia.
