Adding an unexpected twist, Indian actress Payal Ghosh has made a marriage proposal to Mohammed Shami, expressing her interest in becoming his second wife.
After India's match against Sri Lanka on November 2, the actress Payal Ghosh shared a tweet which has now garnered widespread attention. It was courtesy of Shami's exceptional performance, with his unplayable swinging deliveries leading to a five-wicket haul in just 5 overs and restricting Kusal Mendis' side to a mere 55 runs. This magical performance left a strong impression on the actress. As a result, Payal Ghosh extended a marriage proposal to the star India speedster.

Although the actress's proposal appeared to be lighthearted, social media users swiftly reacted. One Twitter user trolled the actress by stating, "But he will not marry you because you are not eligible for him." Payal is originally from Kolkata and an alumnia of Scottish Church College. She embarked her film career in 2008 with the English movie "Sharpe's Peril." She later took on supporting roles in various Indian film industries, including Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Notably, her breakthrough came in 2017 when she played a significant role in the Hindi film "Patel ki Punjabi Shadi," alongside renowned actors Paresh Rawal and Rishi Kapoor. In addition to her acting career, Payal Ghosh has ventured into politics.
Shami's first marriage ended in Divorce
The India fast bowler married Haseen Jahan, a divorcee and model, on June 2014. After that the couple initially seemed to have a happy life, welcoming a daughter in 2015. However, in 2018, their relationship soured when Hasin Jahan accused Mohammed Shami and his family of domestic violence and alleged that he was involved in extramarital affairs.
Subsequently, she took legal action, seeking a warrant for Shami's arrest from the Supreme Court. After this Shami now lives alone in his house in his house in Uttar Pradesh along with his family and relatoves while the custody of his daughter is with Hasin Jahan only.
