'I'm happy, I'm proud...' - Virender Sehwag gets emotional after Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya

The entire nation rejoiced as the Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya concluded on Monday, January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi officiating. Although Virender Sehwag was not physically present at the Ayodhya venue, he, like many others nationwide, was moved when the initial images of the idol surfaced.

 The legendary India batter was among numerous cricket stars, past and present, including Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sunil Gavaskar, Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Venkatesh Prasad, Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rohit Sharma, who received official invitations to the event. In a heartfelt post on social media, the former opening batter expressed deep emotions and pride following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. He also paid tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the temple to be unveiled after many years.

Several notable sports personalities attended the event, including cricketers Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja, among others. In an exclusive interview with Times Now, Sachin Tendulkar expressed that attending the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony in Ayodhya was a special feeling. He mentioned that it was a dream come true for millions of people around the world.

"Jai Shree Ram. Its a special feeling indeed. I would say a dream come true for millions and millions of people across the globe. Come and take the blessings. There cannot be anything bigger than that," the legendary opener said.
