Meanwhile, the white-ball ODI series will begin from the 6th of February. The three-match ODI series will be played first at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The T20 series will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from the 16th of February.
In a tweet posted by Gujarat Cricket Association, they confirmed the matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium will be played behind closed doors, considering the current Covid situation. Rohit will be keen to make a good start to his full-time captaincy stint. He will have some tough calls to take, but the biggest of them all will be to find a perfect team combination. Due to fierce competition, many talented players have been warming the bench and Rohit needs to ensure that every player gets an opportunity to play for the country.
