Talking about the message sent to Morrison, Cummins told that he had to take quick action to undo the mistake that happened to be upon him.

Pat Cummins to Tour India for First Time as Australia Test captain
Notably, Cricket Australia appointed the Sydney-based bowling prodigy as the Test skipper of Australia almost 15 months back in November 2021. He was made captain after the former skipper Tim Paine was forced to quit captaincy following a texting scandal that went viral over social media.
The Aussies have performed brilliantly during the home assignments under the captaincy of Pat Cummins as they have ended up as the winning side four times and a draw in five Test matches.
Cummins & co. will now be eyeing the upcoming tour of India where they will lock horns with the hosts in the full-fledged four-match Test series. Both teams will play the first Test on the 9th of February at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
