Indian team has gained a lead of 1-0 in the three-match T20I series against South Africa with an emphatic win in the first of the three-match T20I series. Suryakumar Yadav and senior batter KL Rahul turned out the showmen for team India as they finished the match in the 17th over.
Both batters scored brilliant half-centuries of 51 and 50 runs respectively. Although, the fans and cricket experts were not so happy with the slow-paced knock from KL Rahul. Skipper Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli failed to deliver up to the expectations.
Apart from the experts' analysis, former Indian batter Mohammad Kaif has also come up with his comments on the duo of KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav. He went on to take a dig at KL Rahul while he was praising Suryakumar Yadav.
“Top class pacers or spinners, turning or seaming pitches, difficult match situation - nothing bothers Surya. He might not win the orange cap, MoM but he will win you matches. No.4 pe rumal daal diya Surya ne, he's not moving for a long time. @surya_14kumar,” reads the tweet posted by Mohammad Kaif on his Twitter handle.

Speaking of the first match, then the Indian pace duo of Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh completely outmuscle the South African batting line-up. They both jointly scalped five wickets of the visitors only on the score of nine runs.
Arshdeep Singh was adjudged player of the match for his fantastic performance. He stunned everyone when he scalped three big wickets of the South African team in the second over of the innings.
Suryakmar Yadav went on break multiple records with his half-century knock as he became the batter with most sixes in T20Is during a single calendar year.
Both teams will now face each other in the second of the three-match T20I series in Guwahati on the 2nd of October.
