England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) milked the hot topic of Virat Kohli and Jonny Bairstow's heated conversation. After England successfully chased down the target of 378 runs with seven wickets in hand, the ECB created a controversy on Twitter. Apparently, the cricket board tweeted two images of Kohli and Bairstow. The first one was from Day Three of the game where Kohli was asking Jonny to shut up.

On the right side, the duo was seen shaking hands and leaving the past behind. This might seem harmless but the caption that the board put created controversy. Apparently, the social media handler used the zip-it-up emoji which is generally used when someone doesn't want to speak or asks the other person to keep quiet.

This tweet has created controversy and the fans suggested how the ECB needs the former India skipper for clout. In other words, the fans tried to say that the ECB was trying to get more and more views using the 33-year-old. Unsurprisingly, the India and Pakistan fans of the 102-Test veteran bashed the cricket board.

A lot of readers might be aware of the fact that people from both countries forget their political difference when it comes to cricket. In the Delhi player's case, this is no different. A lot of people from Pakistan adore the modern-day legend. Meanwhile, talking about the game, the Three Lions managed to level the five-match series 2-2.

With this, the world number two side once again lost the opportunity to win the series since 2007. Up next, the Men In Blue will play the three-match T20I and ODI series against the hosts. The home team will start their era under the new skipper Jos Buttler. For the unversed, Eoin Morgan has announced his retirement from international cricket after battling with form and injuries in the last one and a half years. The series will start on July 7.
