Harbhajan Singh comes forward to help a girl who sketched Nike symbol on her feet

Harbhajan Singh has indulged in a noble gesture. Dr Rohit Saxena had tweeted about a young girl who had made the symbol of Nike on her legs. The girl could not afford a Nike Shoe, but she had still made a symbol of Nike, displaying grit and courage.

Harbhajan Singh took notice of the tweet and asked for the details of this girl. Singh tweeted that he would like to fund the compete sports and education expenses of the child. “Can someone provide me the details of this beti of ours .. I would like to take care of her sports and education,” tweeted Harbhajan Singh.

Harbhajan has always come forward to help the people in need and once again the former India spinner has proved his humbleness by offering help to the poor girl.

Harbhajan Singh is a stalwart of Indian cricket and will go down as one of the greatest bowlers to have ever played for India. The 41-year-old is the 4th highest wicket-taker for India in Tests, with 417 wickets in the whites.

In addition to the staggering Test numbers, Harbhajan also has a phenomenal limited overs record, with 294 wickets. He has taken a total of 28 five-wicket hauls and 5 ten-wicket hauls in international cricket. Singh also had a decent Indian T20 League career and picked up 150 wickets while playing for different franchises. Harbhajan was also part of the Indian team that won the 2007 20-Over World Cup and 2011 50-Over World Cup.
