Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has fallen once again on the receiving end of the trolls on the social media platform, Twitter. It all happened after a decision came from the Indian cricket Board that the Yo-Yo Test will be mandatorily a part of the selection criteria for the players to fix their spots in the squad.
βThe Yo-Yo Test and Dexa will now be part of selection criteria and implemented in the customized roadmaps of the central pool of players,β reads the official statement released by the Indian cricket Board in the aftermath of the review meeting of Team India.
The meeting included President Roger Binny, Secretary Jay Shah, national team skipper Rohit Sharma, head coach Rahul Dravid, and NCA head VVS Laxman.
Coming back to the Yo-Yo Test being made compulsory by the Board, the fans took it as an opportunity to troll the current Indian skipper and veteran batter, Rohit Sharma. They took to Twitter to take a dig at the 35-year-old and also assumed that his international career also over as he could not pass the Yo-Yo fitness Test.
Hereβs how fans reacted:
