In a shocking piece of news, Gunshots have been fired in Multan ahead of the second Test between Pakistan and England. Both teams are set to play this match on the 9th of December at Multan Cricket Stadium. The report from the PA news agency has understood that the shots were fired almost 1km away from the location where both teams are settled in Multan for the second of the three-match Test series.
The report further states that these gunshots were fired in a gang war between two rival gangs. Subsequently, the Multan police arrested four individuals. Notably, the preparations of both teams haven’t been affected due to the gunshots.
In a line of precautions, the administration has decided to shut the roads leading to and from the ground. Police escorts have also been provided to all the individuals who are associated with the second Test match between Pakistan and England.
All the foreigners staying in Multan will now be restricted to move without police escort in the city.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board was also in the controversial headlines when England and Wales Cricket Board decided to send their chef with the team. The ECB decided to do it following the complaint of stomach pain by players.
Talking about cricket, the visitors under the captaincy of Ben Stokes won the first Test against Pakistan with a margin of 7"4 runs. The English skipper went to take a gutsy decision of declare the innings showing their aggressive approach. Pakistan couldn’t cross the finishing line and they got bundled up with a score of 268 runs while chasing the target of 343 runs.
Now, England will be eyeing on to win the match and taking the winning lead of 2-0 in the series. Whereas on the other hand, Babar Azam’s men will focus on leveling the series with the visitors by winning the second Test in the Multan.
