Senior Australian batter and former vice-captain, David Warner is known for his amazing and funny personality off the field. The 36-year-old never fails to entertain his fans with his active presence on social media. Apart from that the southpaw has made everyone laugh once again for one his activities during the first of the three-match ODI series against England.
It all happened during the 46th over of the Australian innings in when they were nearing the target of 288 runs. A little fan happened to ask David Warner for his shirt with a message written on a placard. “David Warner, can I have your shirt?” reads the message from the fan.
As soon as the visuals went viral on the big screen, Warner’s teammate Marnus Labuschagne could be seen trying to take off Warner’s shirt. Responding to both Marnus and the little fan, David Warner made an entry to the scene with a hilarious reply.
“Get one off Marnus,” replied Warner to the request of a little fan sitting in the stands. Subsequently, it didn’t stop here only, just after the message from Warner, another fan came up with a follow-up message on a placard that read, “Marnus, man please, have your shirt.”
The video of this entire funny rollercoaster incident has been shared by cricket.com.au at their official Twitter handle and it has now gone viral over social media drawing some reactions on social media from the fans as well.

Speaking of Warner’s performance with the bat in the series opener against England, he played a brilliant knock of 86 runs off 84 balls with 10 boundaries and a six to his name. His knock played a crucial role in Australia’s win in the first ODI against England.
Other than Warner, Steve Smith and Adelaide’s local boy Travis Head also played the knocks of 80 and 69 runs respectively to help Australia win the match by six wickets.
