They wrote: "Virat Kohli at his best." Hence, it was quite surprising for some fans to see that franchise sharing a tweet to praise Kohli’s outrageous effort against SRH.  Speaking of the match, Heinrich Klaasen’s maiden IPL ton helped SRH to score 186 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, RCB chased down the target in 19.2 overs with eight wickets in hand. Du Plessis also smashed 71 runs off 47 balls along with Kohli. They put up a 172-run partnership for the first wicket in 17.5 overs.

Meanwhile, during the post-match presentation, Kohli said: “Quite special considering the magnitude of the game. We saw the ball was gripping in the middle. We wanted a solid start but did not expect to be 172 for no loss. That's how well Faf and I have played, he's been on a different level. I had a quiet couple of games and wasn't hitting as well in the game as I was in the nets. My intent from ball 1 was to go after the bowlers. There was a dip but I wanted to take it up in the right time. Happy that it all came together nicely.”
