On 10 June 2023, day four of the World Test Championship (WTC) final, all eyes were on Team India as Australia finished day three with a lead of 296 runs with six wickets in hand. However, they had a great as Umesh Yadav struck early by taking the wicket of Labuschagne. The number one-ranked batter in the longest format of the game got out on 41 runs off 126 balls, including four boundaries. Then, Ravindra Jadeja struck for the third time in this inning by taking the wicket of Green.

India’s highest-ever chase in Tests is 406 runs against West Indies

He scored 25 runs off 95 balls, including four boundaries. Then, Mitchell Starc came out to bat along with the wicketkeeper batter, Alex Carey. They put up a partnership of 93 runs for the seventh wicket. Finally, Mohammed Shami took the wicket of Starc as he scored 41 runs off 57 balls, including seven fours. It was quite frustrating for Rohit Sharma and his men to leak those quick runs during that period. Then, skipper Pat Cummins came out to bat but he just added five runs. But, after that, the Aussies declared their innings with a lead of 443 runs.
