Lahore Qalandars captain, Shaheen Afridi reminded fans of Shahid Afridi with some blistering strokeplay in the final league game of the Pakistan Super League. Shaheen produced a miracle as the team needed 24 runs to win in the last over against Peshawar Zalmi. The first delivery was a wide.

On the first legal delivery, the ball took an edge and raced to the boundary over the keeper's head for a four. The next ball was smashed long and high over deep mid-wicket for a six. With 13 needed off 4 balls. Shaheen smashed another six over extra covers for to bring the equation to 7 off 3. The next two deliveries were dot, much to the respite of Zalmi.
He managed to hit the ball for a six and tied the match. His did his signature celebration, just like Shahid Afridi after forcing the match in Super Over. Riaz bowled a magnificent Super Over and gave away just 5 runs, as Zalmi needed just 6 to win the match. Shoaib Malik hit two boundaries on first two balls to win the game for his team.
Despite the loss, Afridi will be mighty proud of his performance. Lahore were down at out when Hafeez got out, with Lahore needing 30 off 11 balls.
