‘Fixing skills ki baat kar raha hai’ - Fans troll Pakistan wicketkeeper for his ‘Mohammad Amir is more skillful than Shaheen Afridi’ remark

Here is how fans have trolled Sarfaraz Ahmed for his bizarre praise on Amir over Afridi based on their skills as pacers

Sarfaraz Ahmed recently played in the Pakistan Super League for Quetta Gladiators. However, he failed to guide the team into the playoffs once again this year. But, he came into the headlines by considering Mohammad Amir more skillful than Shaheen Shah Afridi. In a recent YouTube podcast, the Pakistan wicketkeeper shared his opinion.

During that podcast, he was asked to rank Mohammad Asif, Amir, and Shaheen Afridi based on their ability as a pacer. In response to that, Sarfaraz said that Asif is number one. He said: "I will put Asif at number one position". Then, he put Amir in the second spot while Afridi in the third spot.

Sarfaraz Ahmed further added: "If you talk about skills, Amir is not playing international cricket right now. I think he should play international cricket but it is his decision. If Amir was playing right now, I would put Amir at two and Shaheen at number three". He further opened up about his association with his PSL side, Quetta Gladiators. The veteran wicketkeeper said that he has no plans to leave the franchise despite failing to guide them into playoffs in the last four seasons.

He added: "I am associated with Quetta for the last eight years but my relationship with them is too old. I think since 2003 or 2004, I am with them. I guess I was just 17 when I first played for Nadeem Bhai's team Omar Associates. I played for the Pakistan club and Nadeem Bhai saw and supported me during my growth as a cricketer. He is just like a father figure to me. I will not leave Quetta until they release me". However, listening to that, some fans went crazy and they trolled Sarfaraz brutally on the social media platform. They claimed that Mohammad Amir only has more skills in fixing than Afridi as he got alleged of such charges earlier in his career. On the other hand, Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of the top bowlers of this time across all three formats in the world of cricket.
