Cricket: The auction of the second edition of the Women's Premier League is just a day away from starting. Here are the five players who might get highest bid in the auction.

The auction of the second edition of the Women's Premier League is just a day away from starting. A total of 165 players are set to go under the hammer for 30 spots in contention. There are teams like RCB, UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Giants, who have some purchases to be made. RCB have 7 players to be picked in the auction. Gujarat Giants have a whopping 10 slots left to be filled. Mumbai and UP Warriorz have 5 slots to be filled respectively. Delhi Capitals have 3 players to be picked.

104 Indian players and 61 overseas players are set to go under the hammer. Many of the Indian players are young and are ready to be picked by the franchises. There are some quality players from overseas conditions, who can provide the much required balance to the sides. The demand for some of the players is so huge that they have set arecord base price for themselves in the league. There might be some players who can go overpriced, although the chances of it happening are less.
