In a remarkably one-sided encounter, MI Emirates cruised to victory against the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders with an emphatic performance that will significantly boost their net run rate (NRR). The ADKR batting lineup struggled right from the start as Boult, Akeal Hosein, and Muhammad Rohid Khan wreaked havoc, collectively taking eight wickets. Despite a commendable effort from Russell, who tried his best with the bat, the rest of the batting order fell short, and ADKR was bowled out for a paltry 95 runs.

Alishan Sharafuc was another ADKR batter to reach double figures, managing to score 10 runs before falling victim to Akeal Hosein. Other batters made a brief attempt to stabilise the innings, but the fiery spell from Boult dismissed them. Imad Wasim showed some resistance with a knock of 7 runs, but the MI Emirates bowlers dominated the proceedings.

In pursuit of a modest target of 96, the MI Emirates' innings were characterised by a dominant batting display. Kusal Perera, opening the innings, played a quickfire knock of 22 runs before being dismissed by Matiullah Khan. However, it was Muhammad Waseem and Nicholas Pooran who took charge and steered their team to an easy victory.
