Indian women’s tour of England has ended up with a lot of unnecessary headlines in social media. It included the debate on both on-the-field and off-the-field issues. Firstly, the run-out of English Charlie Dean at the non-striker’s end by Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma stolen caught the eyeballs of the whole cricketing fraternity. It also divided them into multiple opinions.
This debate was still on and within the next 72 hours, another incident shocked the cricketing world when Indian women’s wicketkeeper-batter Taniya Bhatia came up with shocking tweets where she informed about a robbery with her in an England-based hotel where the Indian women’s team was staying during the ODI series.
Indian cricket fans who were defending Deepti Sharma till now for her stance on the field took no time in lashing out at England once again on the Taniya Bhatia robbery incident. They took to Twitter for taking a jibe at the English management with their creative and witty sense of humor.
Here’s how fans reacted:

I know that you are going through recession and high inflation, but I never thought you'd stoop so low to fall into your own guest's room to steal their bags and money.
SHAME.

Speaking of the incident with Taniya Bhatia, then she came up with two shocking tweets where she questioned the hotel management and the security as well.
“Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management; someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches, and jewelry during my recent stay as a part of the Indian Women's Cricket team. @MarriottBonvoy @Marriott. So unsafe” reads the tweet from Bhatia
“Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket's preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognizance as well. @Marriott @BCCIWomen @BCCI,” she added later.
Hotel management came up with a reaction to Bhatia’s tweet and informed her they have already initiated an investigation and would also reach her to have a private discussion on the issue.
Hi Taniyaa, we are sorry to hear this. Please DM us your name and the email address you made the reservation with and the exact dates of your stay, so we can look into this further. https://t.co/2mhojuKdK1
