Less than 24 hours after India announced their squads for the limited-overs series against England, the hosts also announced their teams. The series will start right after the ongoing fifth Test between both teams in Birmingham on July 7. The Test will end on July 5. Coming back to the limited-overs squad, the Three Lions have announced a single squad, unlike the visitors.

Notably, the Men In Blue have announced two squads for the T20I series. The team for the first T20I will feature the same set of players who played against South Africa and Ireland. For the game, the first-choice players won't be available as a lot of them are playing the Test. On the other hand, the Jos Buttler-led side will have the same set of players as none of them are playing the fifth rescheduled Test.

After Eoin Morgan's retirement, this will be England's first assignment in white-ball cricket. Buttler has been appointed as the skipper of the white-ball team. Phil Salt, who scored his maiden ODI hundred against the Netherlands last month, has been retained in both teams. Harry Brook, who was part of the Test team against New Zealand, has been added to the white-ball squads as well. Jonny Bairstow has been included only in the ODI team as he's a part of the ongoing Test.

Matthew Parkison, who made his international debut against the World Test Championship 2021 winners, has been added to the squads. Richard Gleeson has earned a maiden call-up at the age of 34 for the T20I series. Here are England's limited-overs squads.
