However, they visited the stadium and attended a program in order to celebrate the 75 years of friendship between India and Australia. They also took a round of the massive sports arena on a golf car before the start of the match. Both Modi and Albanese were also present with the players during the National Anthem. However, an image has gone viral where both Modi and Albanese presented special Test caps to Rohit and Smith respectively. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared some funny tweets on social media.

However, during the pre-match conference, Rohit Sharma said: “You just got to go and score runs, find ways to score runs. And that is the talk within the group. Conditions are there for us to play and you’ve got to find a way to score runs whatever the pitches you play on. That is the talk. We’re just trying to figure more and more methods of coming out on top when the pitches are challenging. So yeah, every individual is different and they’ll find their own methods of scoring runs.”

Speaking of the match, Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. The Aussies did not make any changes to their winning playing XI from Indore. While Rohit Sharma confirmed that Mohammed Shami replaced Mohammed Siraj.
