Pakistan had a great chance to win the recently concluded home T20I series against New Zealand after winning the first two matches. But, the Kiwis made a great comeback and the series ended 2-2. So, fans were not happy with such a form from the Men in Green. However, their bowlers got bashed brutally.
But, now a video has gone viral where former Pakistan pacer, Sikandar Bakht was seen slamming a Pakistan pacer. He was seen saying that there is a bowler in the team who only focus on shaving to remain beautiful. But, as a fast bowler, he should be more aggressive like Shoaib Akhtar. It seemed that he took an indirect dig at Naseem Shah.
Here is the shared video:
"Humare ek fast bowler sirf shave hy karte rehte hain kai khubsurat houn. Fast bowler khubsurat nahi khaufnak, khoonkhuwar dikhan chaye just like @shoaib100mph,' Former Test fast bowler @Sikanderbakhts takes dig at @iNaseemShah pic.twitter.com/My3uBdZzwY

Naseem Shah played only one match against New Zealand
Speaking of Naseem Shah, he played only the third T20I against the Kiwis. In that match, Shah conceded 30 runs in four overs without any wickets. Before this series, he failed to perform in the T20I series against Afghanistan. In two matches, he grabbed only one wicket. Now, the Men in Green will play New Zealand in a five-match ODI series at home. Naseem Shah is a part of the squad.
Ahead of the series, through an issued statement by PCB, Babar said that this upcoming series is going to be crucial in the context of the preparations for the upcoming Asia Cup in Pakistan and the ODI World Cup in India. He said: “Every match that we play from now on holds great significance for us. This series is a brilliant opportunity for us to fine-tune our combinations and gather the momentum ahead of the mega events in the shape of the Asia Cup and the much-anticipated World Cup. This team has done well in the past one year in the one-day format and I have firm faith in my boys that they will perform according to expectations in the exciting next seven months”.
