The upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup is all set to take place in India later this year. However, the former Pakistan skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq came up with a bold prediction. He predicted that India can meet Pakistan in the final of the tournament. He even claimed that the Men in Green have a great chance to win the World Cup this time around.

Listening to that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. However, they will meet each other as per reports on 15 October 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The final is also reportedly to take place in Ahmedabad. So, fans will be thrilled to see this epic rivalry once more in the grand final.

Recently, during a chat with News24, Misbah picked the best batter in the world but it was not the Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam. Babar is currently the ranked one batter in ODIs while in other formats also, he has been doing well.
Still, the former Pakistan coach said: "See there are several players, you can't name one. If you ask about different formats, then the names are also different but if we look at just one player across all formats, then Virat Kohli tops the list. His performances and achievements are more than any other player if we combine all three formats."
Misbah also said that Babar is going to be a superstar in the future as he will improve day by day. "And in newer players, you can't go beyond Babar Azam. The way Babar has emerged in the last 2-3 years, world no. 1, world no. 2, top five in Test cricket too and has performed everywhere. The way he is performing, I think he is going to be a superstar in the future and will keep on improving," he further concluded.
