Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) sent a notice to the IFSO (The Intelligence Fusion & Strategic Operations against the filthy remarks made on the internet on the daughters of former Indian skippers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Subsequently, the Delhi police have also lodged a First Information Report (FIR) in the same case.

The senior Delhi Police official said that the matter is being dealt with micro-blogging site Twitter.

Meanwhile, Delhi Commission of Women’s chief Swati Maliwal informed about the same through her official Twitter handle.

“Meri Noitce ke baad delhi police ne Virat Kohli aur MS Dhoni ki betiyo’n par hui abhadra tippniyon ke mamle mein FIR darj kar lee hai. Bahut jald sabhi doshi giraftar honge aur salakhon ke peeche jayenge. (After my notice, the Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case of indecent comments made on the daughters of @ImVKohli and @MSDhoni. Very soon all the culprits will be arrested and behind bars),” read the tweet posted by Swati Maliwal on her official Twitter handle.

Earlier, Swati Maliwal happened to share the screenshots of the online abuses for Virat Kohli’s 2-year-old and MS Dhoni’s 7-year-old daughter.

“Such nasty things about a 2-year-old & a 7-year-old girl? If you don't like a player, will you abuse his daughter? Issuing notice to police to register FIR,” read the previous tweet posted by Swati Maliwal to bring the case to the notice of the Delhi Police.

Talking about cricket, Virat Kohli was currently with the Indian team and set to appear in the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Recently, he finished the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka as the highest run-scorer as he scored 243 runs in the three innings with an average of 141.50 including two amazing tons. He also won the ‘player of the series award alongside two ‘player of the match awards.
