Virat Kohli’s relationship with Sourav Ganguly became bad when Kohli got removed from Team India’s captaincy during Ganguly’s tenure as the president of the Indian Cricket Board. Kohli even came up with some controversial comments regarding that whole matter. Hence, fans interpreted that nothing is well between these two since then. However, publicly, they have not shared any comments about it. Speaking of Kohli, he has been enjoying a good IPL 2023 so far with the bat. In four matches, the former RCB skipper has scored 214 runs in 4 matches, at an average of 71.33.

After winning the Player of the Match award during the post-match presentation, Virat Kohli said: It was a bit of a tricky one when it went up in the air. I first of all made sure that no one is close to me so I had space to judge the ball. It was quite difficult but the other two were quite easy. I was quite disappointed that I got out to a full toss. I'd been playing really well and after I got to 50, I was targeting 30-35 runs in the next 10 balls. That's usually how I play and that would've helped us get past 200. I mentioned to the guys in the change room that it felt like 175 was enough on this pitch. It felt like it slowed down."
