Pakistan are currently busy playing the five-match ODI series against New Zealand at home. They are already leading the series 4-0 and will look for a clean sweep as the fifth ODI will take place on 7 May 2023. After the victory in the fourth ODI, Babar Azam and his men are currently the new no. 1 ODI side in the world.

So, they need to avoid a loss in the remaining match to stay at the top. However, Babar scored his 18th ODI century in the last game and won the Player of the Match award also. He is currently the no. 1 ranked batter in ODIs and there is no stopping to his dream run in this format for the Men in Green.

Now, after that clash, the former PCB Chairman, Ramiz Raja came up with a huge praise for the Pakistan skipper. In a recent interaction, Raja said that Babar is no less than the legendary Aussie batter Don Bradman. During his knock against the Kiwis in the fourth ODI, he also became the fastest batter to cross the 5000-run mark in terms of innings.

Regarding that, Raja said: "Babar Azam is no less than Don Bradman. In white-ball cricket, he has statistically become the best player in the world. I have never seen so much consistency from a player in such a risky format, the base of which is his technique and temperament. He has no technical issues, whether it is a grassy pitch or a pitch like Karachi, where bowlers generally struggles."

"He is fastest to 5000 ODI runs and has surpassed many legends like Viv Richards, which is a big achievement. He is the reason why Pakistan has become number one team in ODI rankings," Raja concluded. Seeing such a bold comment about the Pakistan batter, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media.
