The 2023 ODI World Cup is all set to begin in October in India. A schedule also got released earlier but many reports came out that, many matches are going to be rescheduled. Due to Navratri, the India vs Pakistan clash on 15 October in Ahmedabad was reportedly looking to get revised on 14 October.

Then, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) informed that due to the auspicious occasion of Kali Puja, the Pakistan vs England clash at Eden Gardens was reported to get shifted from 12 November. Now, on 9 August, the revised schedule got released and a total of nine matches got rescheduled.

First, the much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan got rescheduled to 14 October from 15 October in Ahmedabad. Pakistan’s three matches got rescheduled while India’s two matches got rescheduled. The Men in Blue will face the Netherlands on 12 November in Bengaluru. However, that will be the last match of the group stage of the tournament. 

The clash between Australia and South Africa also got rescheduled to 12 October while the Kiwis vs Bangla Tigers clash got rescheduled to 13 October. As per the revised fixtures, England will take on Afghanistan on 15 October while the Aussies will take on Bangladesh on 11 November. However, the tournament is set to begin on 5 October while the final will take place on 19 November. Pakistan will begin their campaign on 6 October while India will begin their campaign on 8 October.
