The Asia Cup 2023 is going to happen from 31 August to 17 September as Pakistan have the hosting rights this time around. After a lot of drama, finally, the tournament is all set to happen as the proposed Hybrid model by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) got accepted by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Four matches will be played in Pakistan while the other nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka.
India were adamant about not visiting Pakistan for the tournament due to political barriers. So, this hybrid model came into play. But, as per reports, Pakistan are all set to come to India for the 2023 ODI World Cup later this year. Now, the former Pakistan cricketer, Javed Miandad came up with some derogatory comments about India. He claimed that India can go to hell if they do not wat to come to Pakistan. The video has gone viral and fans have slammed the former cricketer brutally.

While speaking to reporters, Miandad said: “Main sabse pehle refuse kar du aur jab tak India hamare paas nahi aaye hume nahi jana chahiye. India is supposed to come and play in Pakistan. Pehle yehi hota tha, ek saal woh aate the, ek saal hum. Par jis tarike se unka behaviour hai…agar India jab tak hamare paas nahi aata aur nahi khelta, hume koi zaroorat nahi hai.”
“We are better than them. Hamari cricket unse bohot unchi hai aur zabardast hai. Hume inki fikar nahi hai. Naa aao, main kehta hu ki bhaad mein jaao nahi aate to. Hume kya farak padta hai,” he added. However, it was not the first time that Miandad has taken a dig at India with a wish of sending them to hell. Earlier, in a viral video, he was seen saying: “India can go to hell if they don’t want to come to Pakistan to play cricket. I’ve always backed Pakistan. And you know that I don’t leave spare India whenever an issue arises. But the thing is we need to look at our part. And we should fight for it.”
