The bond between former Indian skipper Virat Kohli and star Indian batting sensation Suryakumar Yadav is something that never fails to attract the eyeballs of Indian Cricket fans. The duo has produced a couple of amazing and very crucial partnerships while playing for Team India in the T20 internationals.
Recently, the World number one T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav once again happened to put the entire cricketing fraternity to bow down to his batting excellence. The 32-year-old smashed a swashbuckling century off 45 balls in the series decider against Sri Lanka at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. SKY went unbeaten on 112 runs off just 51 balls with seven boundaries and nine massive sixes to his name.
Just after the batting heroics of the Mumbai batter, social media was flooded with overwhelming congratulatory wishes from the cricket fans and the cricketers as well.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli also posted an Instagram story praising Suryakumar Yadav for his outstanding third T20I century. The 34-year-old added two fire emojis followed by applauding emojis with a snap of SKY’s century celebration against Sri Lanka in the third ODI.
Later on, the Indian Cricket Board posted a video on their official Twitter handle in which Suryakumar Yadav can be seen replying to the story of Virat Kohli in the latter’s DM while he was on camera. “Bhau Bahut saara pyar, see you soon, (Lots of love brother, see you soon)” replied Surya to Virat’s Instagram story. The video of this special moment is now making rounds on social media within a few hours of being posted by the Indian Cricket Board.
