Team India are currently busy playing the first Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur. Australia batted first and got bundled out for 177 runs. Shami recently made a comeback for team India in the home ODI series against the Lankans and Kiwis. He took three wickets against Sri Lanka while managing four wickets against New Zealand. So, fans were eager to see him in action in the red ball format. Speaking of his career, Mohammed Shami has played 61 Tests so far. In 115 innings, he has taken 217 wickets at an economy of 3.28. With the bat, he has scored 722 runs in 85 innings. Meanwhile, Shami was the fourth-highest runscorer of that innings behind Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel.
