In a major update on senior Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, the media reports have learned that he might be available in the squad to play the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Earlier, the 28-year-old had a complaint of a stress fracture in the back due to which he has also been ruled out of the ongoing T20I series against South Africa.
Although, a senior Indian journalist has almost confirmed recently the participation of Bumrah in the marquee tournament. Following this, there are also multiple assumptions among the fans and experts about when and how Bumrah will be available to join the squad before flying to Australia.
“Was traveling the last couple of days so missed out on quite a bit. So, all those worried about the possibility of Jasprit Bumrah missing the World Cup, please don’t be. He is in very good hands and the word coming out right now is extremely positive, he may fly,” reads the tweet.

In the absence of Bumrah, the Indian management has picked Mohammed Siraj as the replacement for him in the ongoing three T20I series against South Africa.
Notably, Bumrah could’ve played only a few matches in the T20I series against Australia. Although, he was not that much impressive in the series.
