After enduring a poor run throughout the tournament so far, Rohit Sharma was expected to deliver up to his stature. But unfortunately, the Indian skipper could add only 27 runs with his bat off 28 balls with a slow strike rate of 96.42 and four boundaries on his credit.

Some of the Indian cricket fans who were already unhappy over Rohit’s poor performance in the tournament found another chance to go hard while criticizing the 35-year-old for his poor outing in a must-win knockout match of the tournament against England. Speaking of the match so, India has lost their big wicket in the form of star batting sensation Suryakumar Yadav who went back to the pavilion with an individual score of 14 runs with one boundary and a six to his name.

At the time of filling this copy, India has scored 88 runs for the loss of three wickets in 13.5 overs with former skipper Virat Kohli and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya there in the middle with individual scores of 37 and 4 runs respectively.
