Mohammed Siraj recently played the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at the Oval. However, India lost the match by 209 runs but Siraj had a decent outing with the ball, especially in the first innings. Now, the Team India pacer shared a morning selfie on Twitter and wrote: ‘Morning vibes.’ Seeing that image, fans shared their views on social media. Meanwhile, along with batting failure, India’s bowlers were disappointed on the first day of the Test. However, on the second day, Siraj looked in a good rhythm with some aggression.

On the fourth delivery of day two, Steve Smith moved away before the ball as he was having some issues with the spider cam. But, Siraj threw the ball straight and it seemed that he was not happy. Seeing such an aggressive nature, former cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri were not so happy. Gavaskar said: "What is happening? I mean these are the second and third deliveries of the day.”

"Steve Smith is just backing away. Didn't please Siraj but Smith had every right to move out of the way. It's more the frustration of Siraj being hit for two boundaries. He got sounded off by Rohit Sharma the previous ball,” Shastri said.

On the other hand, former Team India skipper, Sourav Ganguly termed this incident from where India’s bowling looked completely different from both ends. While speaking to SportsTak, he said: “Mohammad Siraj threw a ball towards Steve Smith in the first session of Day 2 in the WTC final and then India's bowling became different from both ends. Such an intent was missing (on Day 1)." Notably, Mohammed Siraj reached the 50-wicket mark during this clash as now, he has 52 wickets in 35 innings of 19 matches.
