Naseem Shah is currently busy playing the ongoing Pakistan Super League for Quetta Gladiators. However, on 15 February 2023, the young pacer from Pakistan celebrated his 20th birthday. But, fans went crazy when India’s Bollywood actress, Urvashi Rautela wished him a birthday wish on Instagram.

Urvashi Rautela is known for her brief history with team India’s wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant. Speaking of the wish, she wrote in the comment section in reply to a post from Naseem Shah on his official Instagram account. Shah shared a post to wish Shadab Khan on his wedding. He wrote: “Congratulations mere Chotay bhai @shadab0800 may Allah bless you both on this day with a lifetime of shared love and joy Best Wishes Always”.

In reply to that, Urvashi Rautela wrote: “Happy birthday @inaseemshah congratulations on being conferred with honorary DSP rank”. Even, the pacer also replied: " Thank you" while acknowledging the greeting. Recently, Naseem Shah has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police. He was honoured with the DSP rank in a ceremony held at the IG Balochistan Police Office, Quetta.

Speaking about it to Daily Pakistan, the young pacer said: "As a child, I had been scared of policemen. My parents would scare me by mentioning the police. However, as I have grown up. I have come to realise the sacrifices they make to keep us said. They don't just put their lives at risk for us, but I have a far more simple example of their service." However, Urvashi Rautela shared an Instagram reel featuring the Pakistan pacer after the Asia Cup game on 4 September 2022.

A famous song named, “Koi Tujhko Na Mujhse Chura Le” was playing in the background. But, the reel got deleted after some time as fans went crazy to see and it went viral. Then, Naseem Shah said that he is completely unaware that who Urvashi Rautela is. "I am smiling at your question. I don't know who Urvashi is. People usually send me videos but I have no idea. I only focus on my match. I have nothing special in me but I thank people who come to watch cricket and give a lot of respect," the Pakistan pacer added. Now, after this birthday wish from the actress, Pakistan fans came up and slammed her while giving a warning to their bowler.
