The Women’s T20 League auction took place on Monday at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. It was a landmark day for women’s cricket as the fans were elated to witness the women’s cricketers going under the hammer.

A lot of women cricketers became millionaires overnight and it has, indeed, invited hope for those who are dreaming to become top-level cricketers. The Women’s T20 League auction saw a lot of cricketers going under the hammer and racking a huge amount of money. Smriti Mandhana became the most expensive player at the auction.

She was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping amount of 3.4 crores, while the likes of Harmanpreet Kaur (1.8 crores), Ashleigh Gardner (Rs 3.2 crore), Ellyse Perry (Rs 1.7 crore), Beth Mooney (Rs 2 crore) among other also had a great day at the office.
